The Obeyyan strain, also known as Abbayan, are famed for their tail carriage.
The Obeyyan strain mares of Al Waab Farm, tracing back to Hanan, add exotic type and refinement and are a perfect match for the more dominant Dahman strain through Bukra and Farida.
Sheikh Ahmed has included some very special mares in the breeding program, such as Ajmal Obeyyah (Ansata Hejazi x NK Aischa) and Obeyyah Al Rayyan (Ansata Hejazi x NK Aischa)
Characteristics include a more angular form, and like Saqlawi they tend to be more feminine in type, some-what fine boned with very refined features. They tend to be more stretchy overall with a longer back and neck, extreme tail carriage and usually have very good movement.
